The Gorilla® glass from the well-known specialist manufacturer, Corning Inc., from the US Federal State of New York enjoys a legendary reputation by now and is already used for high-quality electronics and photography products. Ions are exchanged on the molecular level by an extremely hot bath in a specially mixed liquid and lend the glass extreme resistance. Even with deep scratching there is no splintering of the material on the edges and further impairment of the filter surface is certainly prevented.\n\nLuminance Coating - the additional protective layer\nThe filter blanks are subjected to yet another coating.
