DEET free clinically proven insect repellent with natural and organic ingredients. Works for up to 8 hours and has a pleasant citrus odour.\n\nEffitan insect repellant from alva delivers natural but highly effective protection from mosquitoes, ticks and horseflies; ideal for travel to warmer climes.\n\nThe effectiveness of Effitan has been tested both at the Swiss Tropical Institute in Basel and at the Institut Dr. Dautel in Berlin.\n\nThe results show that Effitan protects effectively against mosquitoes for up to 8 hours, and against ticks for up to 6 hours. The testing concluded that Effitan was effective for 2 hours longer than the best selling market leader, Autan. Additional outdoor tests conducted show Effitan's effectiveness in protecting against horseflies and fleas.\n\nEffitan is DEET free. Suitable for use when pregnant, and is suitable for use on infants and children from 2 years of age.\n\nCAUTION: when using on infants and children, avoid spraying on parts of the body that can be put into the mouth.
