Jean-Paul Guerlain travelled to India many times to acquire the purest sandalwood and a jasmine used only for religious offerings until then.\nSamsara is a sensual version of seduction for a woman who has found harmony and balance, which is notably conveyed through the composition's raw materials.\n\nIt was at the Musée Guimet that Robert Granai found inspiration for creating the shape of Samsara. The bottle is flamboyant red, a sacred colour, which evokes through the fullness of its shape a statue of a Khmer dancer.
