Maybe I'm doing something wrong but this dishwasher does not clean glasses, cups or cutlery very well at all. Cups are left with stains inside and sometimes grit, glasses are totally ruined with water stains and grit and cutlery has to be washed again by hand. I've had this machine for about 6 months and as we are a household of 2 thrifty pensioners trying to use as little electricity as possible the machine is turned on about every 2 weeks and it's not overloaded, we wash items that are not too greasy by hand. Inside the machine itself, which I never, ever saw on my last machine, it is also dirty and greasy. I have to clean the inside by hand after every use. The inside of my last machine was sparkling clean after being used. I see all the other reviews are very positive but I've never owned such a dreadful dishwasher, it's useless. Could it be faulty? It wasn't the most expensive machine on the market but the reviews were good and it was affordable so I just presumed it would do the job. It's always set on the eco wash, as that's supposed to be the most economical, and the filter is cleaned regularly, more regularly than normal due to the machine not doing a good job. I always make sure the arms are free to turn properly and that the top basket is pushed in properly. I'm sure it isn't my fault. Is it supposed to be used daily for it to function properly? As I said it's a fairly new machine, hardly used but does not wash properly.
